This policy explains what information Jon Akin Soccer collects through this website and our camps, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email us at info@jonakinsoccer.com.
Information we collect
- Email signups. When you join our list for camp announcements, we collect your email address.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Camp registration. Registration and payment are handled by ActiveNet (Active Network) on their website. We receive the registration details you provide, such as player and parent names and contact information, so we can run the camp. We never see your full payment card details.
- At camp. Our staff take evaluation notes, and we record training sessions and games on video.
- Website visits. Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically logs basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and running. This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use and share it
- To run our camps and communicate with players and families about them.
- To email camp announcements to people who signed up. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- With college coaches. The purpose of a College ID camp is exposure to college programs. We share players' contact information and our staff's notes with the college coaches who attend, and we share camp video with our staff and those coaches so they can evaluate players. Coaches may contact players directly.
- Families can purchase camp video of their player.
- With service providers that help us operate: ActiveNet (registration and payments), Mailchimp (email), and Vercel (website hosting). Each handles information under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell personal information.
Children
This website is intended for parents and for players 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information through this website, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
- Email info@jonakinsoccer.com to ask what information we have about you or your player, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it.
